I knew it! Since my impromptu mid-week weight in two days ago, I gained exactly one pound due to that pesto linguini I ate for dinner Wednesday night. Arg!! I'm glad it wasn't a multiple. I can live with one pound increase. I still didn't gain weight compared to last Friday anyway. That's a good thing.

I should practice self-compassion so I can learn from my mistakes rather than depreciating myself with self-guilt. I don't want to be off the weight loss trim completely and fear that would happen if I begin to think negatively.

I woke up too late this morning for my morning work out, but I know sleep is incredibly important as well, so I don't feel that bad. I'll do my arms strength training workout tomorrow along with my glutes workout. It's alright. I can still at least keep an eye on my diet. :)

I completely agree with the self-compassion thing. I wouldn't even call it self-compassion. I would simply call it, not punishing yourself as long as you are trying since there's no reason to ;). If you don't get it once in a while, just adjust and no reason to feel guilty! :). Sleep is definitely important and you shouldn't exercise while sleepy so I think you decided well on that :)
