Are you measuring yourself daily? Remember that your fat loss might not be measurable or "visible" to that extension, even if it's going at a good pace. If you lose like a lb a week or less, it might not show in daily measurements, not just because you will be losing much less than 1 lb a day but also because that fraction of 1 lb is not coming off of one spot alone, which makes it even harder to see daily when taking measures. It's a really slow process and the key is patience ;) You will probably only notice a difference in measurements when we're talking about weeks or a month :) And that's normal. It's frustrating but it's normal heheh. It's great that you are taking measurements, now that you are exercising, but don't let the measurements frustrate you! It's normal for our weight to fluctuate somewhat but it's also very probable that some of that weight loss was fat loss. If you realize that daily measurements are frustrating you, you're better off measuring like weekly or monthly or so. That's where you are more likely to be able to see the results because it takes time to lose weight. Take it easy and rest assured that you will lose all your excess weight as long as you don't give up and be patient ;) It just takes time. Since you are exercising, you would probably also benefit from measurements of body fat percentage (like with calipers and stuff). I don't speak from experience on those calipers but I get the impression they are really accurate from what I see (I just don't have the patience for doing it lol). Remember that, if you expect results in measurements daily, you will be faced with constant disappointment, even if you are doing great because, even great results won't probably show daily. You could also take pictures of yourself, "before and after" style, like monthly or so for you to compare your progress. You just have to remember to exhale all the air out and relax your belly not tuck it in so you will not be affecting your size in each different picture. Like a friend here told me, looking yourself in the mirror is also a great measurement or even how clothing will fit differently. ;) I think that's great that you add exercise since it will not only add and maintain muscle but raise your metabolism and make you healthier and feel better overall :)

I also weight myself daily. I think that, when it comes to weighing yourself, it's easier to see results from day to day so it's not that frustrating. Measuring though, results will definitely come slower. :) But they will come!

Because, the scale is measuring all your weight loss in just one number, whereas the measurements are measuring changes in size which takes a lot longer :)

You're welcome! Exactly! We never know where the fat is being burned ;) I know that, the belly is one of the last places (at least in myself) lol

Yeah, I definitely agree that it's better to measure yourself weekly! :) More chances to see differences that way.
