my wife really likes Italian food. We had mother's weekend pizza, pasta, pancakes, bread, and beer (that last one's on me 😬).

I'm thinking we should make May into Mother's month. Now I just have to figure out how to do so without all the pesky carbs.

If Mothers' Month also involves breakfast in bed every morning and fresh flowers for 30 days, florists will be over the moon and restaurants will definitely appreciate the boost in business.
