I attribute this small gain to the second batch of pho soup that had to be made yesterday to use up the remaining fresh vegetables. But this time we used half as many pho cubes and reduced sodium chicken broth. Also I had 3 cups of plain popcorn last night that hubby made and I didn’t have the heart to decline. Otherwise I’ve been eating on plan so I hope to record a real loss later in the week. Meanwhile we encountered some lovely flowering quince on our Saturday walk.

Have also made a couple of
FS-inspired purchases lately that I’ll write more about soon. Still marveling at what a great community this, so full of encouragement, support and ideas. My doctors have been suggesting that I “get an app” to help with weight loss for a while now and I thought it was all about being nagged with notifications so I resisted. This year “fear of medications” caused me to reconsider and I almost signed up with Noom. Then I discovered FS which was free, had good reviews, and didn’t require an update to my phone. Didn’t expect to become so invested in the community but it really does help, more than I ever imagined. So thank you all for being here and I hope everyone has a fabulous week full of blessings. Remember to be as kind to yourself as you are to others!
