😳 I expected a 0.2-0.5 jump as I had my fill yesterday. Didn’t expect this. BUT the dr says I am carrying fluid around the expander and that’s natural because it’s a foreign body and my body is healing around it. My neck has also been hurting more the last few days again (muscle not nerve) along with my right shoulder and between my shoulder blades. I’m thinking that would mean some inflammation in those areas again as well. So maybe a pound of this is ‘real’?

Since I’m limited on weight I can lift and things I can do it looks like I may have to consider cardio. Man I hate cardio. Dr gave the okay to walk and run. I just can NOT fall and I’ve got to find a more supportive bra. Which you can’t find in this town. They ALL say light or medium support and my implant still bounces a bit and it’s pretty much stuck in place as it is lol. It will ‘stay in place’ until age and gravity take its toll and they start sagging. The ones online are $100+. Not really worth it IMO. OR I could try binding with an ace bandage. Not sure how that would look or work but it would save me $90 lol. And I’d be able to adjust it to my body exactly unlike a sports bra. Something to consider.

Anyway YES this gain bothers me. Am I going to do anything about it? Nope. Not right now. So much pressure from yesterday’s fill that I’m going to take it easy. I’m betting each remaining fill will be the same or worse as he wants to fill quickly. I’ve been slacking off on my PT so time to get back to that 2x a day. I’m thinking that’s part of my muscle pain at the moment. Feels like I’ve slept wrong AND stove up. Thankfully I’m cleared for a massage next week which will help I’m sure. Not sure if I’ll be comfortable laying on my stomach but worth a try! I just realized this is how my body felt almost daily before I started massages. At least my upper body. My feet still don’t hurt like they used to but I’ve been rubbing those myself when I read at night :).

Double up on the bras, like wear a medium sports bra and one size smaller on top of that. unless it's hot. use common sense there.

I am ride! But it’s boring sitting around doing nothing and then the pounds start to add up. When my kids want to race or something o want to be able to do it.

Kat, my main issues are that the expander is a bit smaller than the implant and will soon be bigger than the implant. Another big issue is that it’s super hard to find a bra with a tight band that doesn’t squeeze the life out of me. Lack of blood flow around the implant and expander is a concern. I think I need to look for an encapsulated cup bra so that I can add in my foam prosthetic to whichever side needs the extra. The regular sports bras make a uniboob so that they don’t jiggle from side to side but they still bounce up and down. I’ve considered putting an ace bandage across the top to hold them ‘down’. The expander is filled with saline so it feels like a water balloon right now. I could borrow my daughters size small sports bras but I’ll stretch them out and I gave them to her because I had issues getting them on over my head. I’m googling bras so find one that’s adjustable and not a pullover. Found one I think would be good but it’s $88 plus tax and shipping 😳. And no free exchanges if it doesn’t fit. And I do have an abdominal binder from surgery. Perhaps I should see if I can wrap that thing around me lol. Wouldn’t be very comfortable though. I’m more wanting something I can wear all day.
