I am 5 days sugar free, protein and veggies, and not as hungry, I walked on my lunch at work yesterday and today and have shin splints, and they feel GOOD!! I have 5 months and 21 days to the big "50"
99.3 kg Lost so far: 0 kg.    Still to go: 26.8 kg.    Diet followed: Reasonably Well.
Losing 3.2 kg a Week

Do you know how to prevent shin splints? I get them when I first start walking and they are so painful I could cry. As my body gets used to it (I had a routine last year), they go away, but I'm just wondering if there is a cure for this?

I would google shin splints. There is some good info under webmd about them.
