Happy Sunday, everyone! Today’s weigh-in reflects no loss! It’s fine because I’ve officially lost 41.2 lbs in 31 months & 2 days. That averages to 1.33 lbs a month. 😬 There were weeks, months in which I didn’t lose a single pound. But I kept seeing positive changes in my body & attitude that kept me going. Along the way, I’ve learned to get rid of that time frame we set for ourselves in order to get to our ideal weight. It’s not practical or realistic. My next goal is to weigh 170. My ultimate goal is to get 160. And if it takes another year to lose the next 15 lbs, so be it. No one is waiting for me. I’m doing this for my health & I want to live & enjoy life while I lose them. 😉 Returning to FS has been a great decision. I realized that a lot of the “small stuff” (condiments, sweeteners, etc) we use to enhance our food add a lot of necessary calories to macros. I’ve decided to work on that. I prefer to enjoy a steak or half of a rotisserie chicken with the healthy sides than waste calories on mayonnaise or BBQ sauce. I’m about that belly-full life! 😄 Along with that, sodium is another thing I need to focus on. My intake is a tad high. I have to bring it down. Well, I hope you enjoy this beautiful Sunday! I love that "full belly life"! Great attitude to take into our new lives. Also, for me, the advice about "no time frames" tables for losing weight really helped me. I had never done that before when dieting. Thank you so much for this post. Provoking deeper thoughts about us and why we do things around food. Heals.✌️
