Happy New Year!

I overdid it just a tad yesterday, but, thanks to my additional burn from the excessive basketball, I did not suffer much in the way of consequences! Weight is almost identical, in spite of almost 400-calorie surplus. I was close to my protein target, which was a miracle, given the uncertainty of what would be served at the party last night.

At the party, one of my friends commented on how I was looking more fit. I was a little uncomfortable talking about it, but it was nice that the work has been paying off to the point people have noticed! That was cool!

Going to try to be relatively good today, but there will be some challenges in getting enough lean protein - we'll be hanging with friends, and the food will be from restaurants. Going to try to start with a good breakfast, however, and then we'll see where the day takes us.
