ExactlyMe's Journal, 01 Apr 21

I took a break from exercise yesterday, as my entire body hurts, but I still walked 30 minutes around my neighborhood. I really think I have built more muscle in the last week than I have in a year.

I'm still disappointed that I gained so much weigh during 2020 covid lockdown. Most people say they have gained the covid 19 pounds, but I gained 40 pounds. I had lost down to 179 before getting really sick last January for a month, and then continually gained weight from there. At least I have all the smaller clothes just waiting for me.
100.2 kg Lost so far: 7.3 kg.    Still to go: 9.4 kg.    Diet followed: Reasonably Well.

Give yourself some grace. Giving your body a break yesterday is ok...listen to your body. It will tell you what you need. Look forward, not backward. I know it easy to beat ourselves up about how we "failed" in the past. We can't change it. It is what it is. But we can make better choices going forward and that's all that matters. Your past is the rear view mirror...drive your life looking at the windshield...all the good things to come! Keep up the great work!

You will get back down - just be kind and patient with yourself. It takes time to gain and will take some time to lose again
