Right back where I should be 😁

I went into a lot of detail about what I ate over the weekend. Although we did eat & drink (a lot & often) we did other things, too! We did have a little glitch in our plans. Before we checked into the house, my neice who had booked it got a message from the owner the power was out. Someone hit a power pole & electric was knocked out for the surrounding area. It was still off when we got to the house. Luckily we had dinner reservations & by the time we got back later it was restored. It was cold & we weren't looking forward to no heat! There were also no candles or flashlight to be found.

Saturday we went to the Tobacco Barn....a huge antiques venue & hit a few other antique & gift shops. Although it wasn't at a fast pace, we did get a lot of steps in. Friday night we started watching Bridgerton on Netflix after dinner. My older neice who has two girls age 4 & 6 said she never gets to just hang out and watch TV....so we ended up binging the whole season Friday & Saturday nights. We all loved it! Even my younger neice & her Mom who had watched it once already....all in one day. We ended up going to bed quite late cause we occasionally paused the show to talk.

We had rain yesterday all day & even a thunderstorm last night. Today was sunny earlier & even got up to the high 60's. Tomorrow is supposed to be rainy again so I'm glad I got a walk today.

The nice day motivated me to clean out the fridge. Then I reorganized the pantry. It's not a big pantry so if I want to find stuff it needs to be organized. Most things like spices, canned goods, crackers, flour, sugar, etc have a designated spot. Snacks are what often get squeezed in.

I had thought I'd start packing up the rest of the holiday decor like the snowmen but I didn't get to them. I cleaned the master bath instead so maybe tomorrow.

Salmon for dinner tonight. I bought a corned beef at the grocery store so tomorrow may be a good day to put that, with carrots, potatoes & cabbage in the crock pot.
