Lisa Online's Journal, 27 Dec 10

Accountability. I was advised by Information who is a very wise maintaining buddy that I may want to weigh in daily. This weigh in is a positive choice for me because it allows me to be diligent and viligent about my weight. Through this practice I understand about fluctuation and am accountable for the choices I make.

I gifted myself a Christmas present called "Color Intuition". Today I pulled a violet card from the deck of this set and it is number #30 and the following is what it reads, I am making it fun. I am running out of time this morning so I will visit your journals later this evening.

RESOLUTION....Problems create a heart of stone. Ironically, I know solutions are always found in my heart. I wait patiently and chip away at the stone with compassion, trust and intuition. Resolutions always arise. I am a peaceful being by nature, all things move and change (even the scale lol), and there is tranquility in that knowing.

I copied the card onto an index card and will carry this and read it throughout my day as I turn things around by drinking lots of water to flush out all the sugar I allowed in my diet these past three days. I went to the gym and had a very good work out and burned 625 calories already! Enjoy your Monday.

p.s. Flucking fluctuations lol....Don't worry, it happens to the best of us. I figure there are no wrong choices and whatever choice we make we get some kind of payoff...I decided this Christmas to enjoy some homemade goodies and went up too and it was worth it to me. Now I am choosing to stay on track and make healthier food choices and it will be worth it.

Getting R.& R. is important as our bodies call out for a battery recharge every so often. I am lucky enough to get that "endorphine high" from cardio. From my understanding not everybody knows what the heck I am talking about and I feel sad for them because I can see how hard it would be to motivate myself to go to the gym if my body didn't thank me by saying, THANKS I NEEDED AND LIKED THAT!!!! Exercise has become an addictive thing to start my day. I hope you can work in a routine that works well for you and yes, losing can be fun:) TOWANDA!!!!!!

It was at Ross in their sale basket...I thought it would teach me about the energy of color and it looks like it will. I want to bring out my pastels and do art this year. It also has a guided meditation that I listened to in the bath yesterday..my husband just shakes his head lol. it is called Color Intuition and is by Laura Alden Kamm...it comes in a very attractive box set. Today my color is violet so I will see what kind of mood this puts me in...TOWANDA!!!!

I like the sound of those cards. I consulted an oracle of my own and saw a "New Beginning" for you. It also advised that you "Watch Your Step" as you move along. I don't know if that means anything to you. :-) I think it *is* a good choice to weigh-in daily and to not be afraid to look at the "bad" weigh-ins as they are the most helpful. It takes a long time to become totally used to the practice, but each step of the way, you're never fooling yourself; and, after a while, it just becomes second nature. I think that for one who has lost, it is difficult to regain too much without coming to grips with the fact and dealing with it promptly if she/he follows this practice. In these days of austerity, the scale is one of my best friends. ;-) Have a good day Lisa!
