Did the thing where I go to the grocery store while starving after work. I didn't pick up chips or Reese's peanut butter cups to snack on and fill me up. It was so tempting because I was soooo hungry. But I rushed home and immediately sautéed 4 cups of chopped veggies (2 cups of mushrooms in this mix), and cooked some wholegrain Rotini noodles and poured 1 cup of homemade spaghetti sauce on top. I'm happy to report that I feel satiated now, and have no chips and chocolate urges. But my brain was playing tricks on me, like "oh, they're just Halloween size, maybe I should buy a box and eat one 80 calorie one a day, lol!! That just wouldn't be how it went though, lol!!
70.8 kg Lost so far: 13.2 kg.    Still to go: 5.0 kg.    Diet followed: Reasonably Well.

So true how we want to talk ourselves into purchases that are unhealthy. How often I hear "it's for..., like ... benefits from processed "foods". Yea they are probably addicted to Twinkies, but really? So big pat on the back for saying "no" to those actions.

I'm learning from past mistakes!! Thanks Ruthe1213, it's my huge weakness that gets me in trouble! If I'm satiated I pass them by without a hint. I only imbibe on my weekly day off now.
