I posted a journal entry earlier but EEEKKKK my internet went down! Wow, amazing how we rely on 'technology', I felt lost when I lost my cell phone awhile back. My internet went down then also and I could not ask Alexa to call my cell, so I could see if it just fell behind something! Found it anyway and of course it was at the last place I had it, LOL.
OKAY, I don't remember exactly what I wrote this morning but it was good! But HEY there is a loss today :-) I'm not sure how accurate this one is, BUT I will take it :-) I was good yesterday with NOT eating late, cutting my fruit down to 2 pieces instead of 3 or 4 servings and not eating to excess. So that may have helped. TODAY I am starting the Dukan Diet. Anyone have experience with this? I'll be on Pure Protein (no extra fats) for 5 days then add veggies and have alternate days of Protein & veggies and then just Protein. This will be for how ever long it takes to get to my 'ideal' weight. I would like it to be between 138-142 as that is when I felt best. But it has been awhile since I've been there so we shall see how I feel each step of the 'downward' scale. Then the next phase is a transition phase then stabilization phase. I"m still reading the book. I find it easy to read (his latest edition The Dukan Diet Made Easy copyright 2011, 2014) I borrowed from the library but I may end up buying this one. The online book store I like is Thrift books. We also have a super used book store here in town that I love Abraxas Books, fantastic place. My 5 days are from Sunday to Thursday. Then Friday my kids & grands get here for a long weekend & birthday celebration. THAT will be the test of my determination. I will make sure I have plenty of foods on my plan readily available. On a side note, remember my 'ghoster'? No word from him yet and no I have not reached out since last Sunday. I was VERY tempted last night and this morning & had a dream about him. EKKKK But instead of texting him I texted my BFF (like my sister) she is miles away and I wish she was here or me there. She replied right away (aren't BFFs the best!) and now my craving has subsided. BUT at least I didn't get food or drink cravings last night or so far today :-) Maybe that is another reason NOT to text or call him since if there was no reply or a let down which if that happened it for SURE set me off & bring me down. BUT not today, today I am STRONG for ME & I have so much support from you all and others :-) Thanks for being there FatSecret Family :-)
I'm off to get my daily dose of Vitamin SEA and talk to my Mother Ocean now :-)

It's all good and just take it a day at a time and you will get to your goal! Try not to read into the future and yu will be fine! You got this!
