Still within maintenance, but more like a weight gain trend. I have to admit, I bought some low-carb snacks and snacked more, so that did not help. I also tried out some xylitol-only gum and mints (cannot remember the company name). They taste good, but the gum really doesn't last for long. At some point I chewed and ate too many of them, which I don't recommend unless you're constipated...

My blood pressure was doing so well until the beginning of the week. Then it started creeping up. At the end of the week, it was higher, and yesterday I felt nervousness before taking my BP (always the case when my BP trends up) and it was in the 140s! Then I rested (still nervous though) and took it again and it rose up to the 150s! This scared me to the point that I did not take my BP this morning. I can only hope it would have gone down, but I will try tomorrow. I still take my medication and vitamins as usual.

I could try to contact my clinic, but I don't know how they work in Covid times. All doctors ever do is prescribe more meds. I already take too much of those. Not that doctors can do much else.

Aside from my BP troubles, things are fine. It is busy at work, but we are getting there. Nice and sunny day, just like Thursday afternoon and yesterday. Apparently not as nice tomorrow. That's OK. Calm days before hot, humid and thunderstormy weather comes back again on Monday!

sad to hear that :'( I hope things stable up for you, medications can always cause all sorts of issues. Maybe see a naturopath or dietician? maybe you are not getting enough nutrients and casing your body to store everything because it thinks it is starving. there's also a Telehealth number, you can google it if you cannot get ahold of your Doctor. A lot of them are back to normal or doing phone/video appointments. Feel better soon! Get well ! Sending you prayers!

All the best. Also see if it is a hormonal issue, you can get a referal by a Family Doctor to see an Endocrinologist also for free. Feel better soon! Sending prayers!
