What a flab-ulous way to start the day! Early morning, so I'm still burning off the flan from dinner apparently 😜.

So, here's what I've figured out...

I love me some breakfast, I do. Always with the oatmeal and scrambled eggs. Them's just my staples.

However... I'm stuck in a rut at the gym and I couldn't figure out why my numbers went backwards on my lifting progress a bit.

I mean, my sleep has never been better, my calories are where they need to be, my protein is above and beyond, my fiber intake is great... fiber intake is great... fiber... intake... is... oooh!

As much as I love a huge bowl of oatmeal to start my day (which keeps me full for a long time), it's a crappy energy source for me, personally, when it comes to the gym.

I looked back to December - when I was performing my best at the gym without being in a caloric deficit - and I was basically living on cereal and protein shakes lol.

My breed of lifting requires rocket fuel carbs, so starting today, I'm back on the sweet cereal bandwagon again!
