Lisa Online's Journal, 15 Nov 10

A childhood friend with the F.S. name of The Ninj joined me here yesterday and I am excited that she is going to join me here. I told her this site isn't for everyone and that I have seen a lot of people come and go, but by surrounding myself with postive people who are striving to take good care of themselves it is has been a very good place to be.

Evaluating the past few days I realize I let my exercise routine slip for a few days which really effected my energy which proved to send me back into an old pattern of eating sugar and drinking coffee which does give me a another type of energy but unfortunantly one that comes crashing down hard!

I found this following few paragraphs from an author Theole.

Oiling Our Apparatus Aerobically

OFTEN OUR LIVES ARE SO HECTIC WE FEEL we must cut corners somewhere in order to have time for everything. Exercise is frequently one of the things we cut. Yet if we do not exercise aerobically at least three times a week, we are wreaking havoc on our bodies. Aerobic exercise is necessary to oxengenate our blood, revitalize our immune system, and keep our muscles healthy and supple.

Aerobic exercise is also good for the physche. When we are depressed, sad, or confused, exercising helps us dispel the cobwebs. That's because one of the side benefits of aerobic exercise is the reduction of stress. We can begin by exercising feeling stressed and depressed, and end the session feeling relaxed and alert through the body's release of natural tranquilizers.

When our bodies ar fit, well-oiled with exercise, everything else becomes easier. Starting small is important so that we do not get discouraged - we can take a ten minute walk, or ride a bike for 5 minutes - and, if possible, it is good to make a pact with a friend in order to support and encourage each other. The hardest part of exercising is making the decision, and then setting aside time in our schedule. Chances are if we can stick to an exercise program for six months, we'll be so happy with how we feel, that we'll be hooked up - and healthier - for life. Although it can be difficult, being kind to ourselves by having the courage to commit to an aerobic exercise program will enhance our health and sense of well being.

I enjoy exercising. I make time to give my body the exercise it wants and needs.

Im back. OKAY HERE IT GOES: I had a light bulb moment today and needed to share! I kept checking in with myself and asking, "how are your feeling"? I was really paying attention to my feelings and listening to my hunger signals and my emotions on a moment to moment basis as I went through my day. The key to keeping in the space we are thriving and happy in is when we are being a good friend to Our Own Self. Why is anybody going to want to be around me when I am not wanting to be around me? I love to be in the space where I am preparing caramel apples for my family but not like I did yesterday when I am eating them for pure comfort. I should have asked myself how I was feeling yesterday and dealt with the overwhelm of things on my to do list and realizing my body was wanting some good exercise instead of masking my feelings with food. I realize the caramel isn't the poison it is my thoughts that are toxic. It is hard to cope in this ever changing world of ours and are using the journal process or paying attention to our thoughts is a good tool to keep your mind in gear. Hope your Monday went well, with Love, Lisa, TOWANDA!!!!
