Fasting blood sugar: 141; weight: 175.6 I followed the Egg Fast on Wednesday. Was not difficult since I am by now used to intermittent fasting. I had a very satisfactory weight loss, so will try it two more days. The difficult part was skipping the veggies and cantaloupe the garden is producing now. So definitely by the week end I want to be eating those again! This egg fast is jump starting my weight loss -- I just need to be cautious about adding other foods back so I don't gain back what I lost. Yesterday: Macros 1/84/15, net carbs 5.06, calories 1283.
Today: Macros 8/79/13; net carbs 21.28; calories 1177. Walked 1/2 miles, rode exercise bike 30 minutes. Garden work 1 hour.
I made Keto cream cheese low carb pancakes for breakfast, with 6 strawberries chopped instead of syrup, and lots of butter. It was delicious and didn't even feel like a diet meal. And perfectly satisfying. But I had to eat 2 slices of cantaloupe fresh out of the garden -- someone had to eat them, we are trying to eat our share before the racoons steal them all! Our dog Hank has not been living up to his job of ranch security!
79.7 kg Lost so far: 4.3 kg.    Still to go: 13.9 kg.    Diet followed: Reasonably Well.
