Thanks to you both. I think it’s because I am cooking 100% of the time. No restaurant food since mid March and very little processed food eliminates a lot of sodium and fat. Nothing like eating pizza and tacos and weighing less the next day!

Thanks, but I am only close to an interim goal. I set my goals in groups of 10 lbs. This is the first of many more to come. I appreciate the support though!😊

Yes, RC. When I had it set to 60something pounds I found I got discouraged easily because it will take so long to get there. 10 pounds is much more doable. I also really remind myself that sustainable change is a slow process. I aim for 3 lbs. a month. I have found that this way, opposed to fast weight loss has let to the weight staying off. Best to you.

Thank you. I have a lot more than 60 to lose, but a 60 pound weight loss is amazing. I am dealing with a lot of personal things (don't we all). It seems like a cliche, but I have been on a diet all of my life. I can only remember one time when I wasn't.

RC Just make small changes and be patient with yourself. Read the posts of those who have maintained significant losses. Be kind to yourself. You can do it. Think of the old saying: A journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step.

Hi Danana, I am trying hard to implement the small changes and I hope that those will eventually lead to a big transformation. I realize that most of my eating habits are influenced by my emotions. That is a start. You look beautiful.
