I just had a Healthy Choice frozen meal...Chicken Tika Masala with veggies & riced cauliflower. 😝 Only 190 calories & no added unhealthy ingredients. Let's just say if you add enough hot sauce, you can make anything palatable 🙄 I think I'll stick to home made with dishes like this. Hubby likes to have a few frozen meals on hand if I'm away & I picked this one up when we were shopping a few weeks ago. I think his beef & broccoli he ate for lunch was a bit tastier. And honestly, I'm not feeling riced cauliflower. I like zucchini zoodles but I think I'd rather skip the rice if I can't have the real thing. Now, that piece of dark chocolate I had after was very tasty!

My meal last night at just over 450 calories was full of flavor. I browned the Tilapia in a tblsp of EVOO in an iron skillet (added Creole seasoning) then covered it with lightly sautéed cherry tomatoes & onions and finished it off in the oven. Add 1/2 a corn on the cob & green string beans sautéed in EVOO (spiced with garlic powder & black pepper) then added a little water to cook til tender. A filling meal full of flavor!

I watched all 4 hours of Gone With the Wind yesterday afternoon. I truly had forgotten the whole story with just a couple of scenes sticking in my mind. My takeaway is, it's about a selfish, spoiled girl that grows up chasing a dream that she doesn't realize isn't what she really wants til the very end. The black characters in a lot of ways are peripheral to the storyline.

I ran into town today to the post office and library. Then I took a few minutes to just drive around. I had thought maybe I'd take a walk around the Town Square but changed my mind and came home. It poured rain yesterday afternoon, so no walk. The sun is bright at the house now, but it is thundering off in the distance.

Hubby has to renew his Drivers License by July 7th. Because of his age, he has to go into the Liscense Bureau for a vision test to do it. The various locations around us were all booked up with appts. so he found one open tomorrow in Taccoa. We're going to drive over & have lunch after 😊

Planning on slicing up more of the Rotisserie chicken for dinner & more salad. Now, that's a quick & easy dinner I can happily dig into.

My calorie average last week was just over 1700 calories. I still upped my daily limit to 1800. Let's, see how that works for me.
