My constant hunger is decreasing I think, either that or I am becoming less likely to give in. I am also more active physically now and less short of breath. David and I went to see some property yesterday and it was on a hill and I had to walk up it, did get out of breath but not as bad as I used to do 6 months ago.

Blood sugar is down to 100 plus or minus 1 or 2 points in the morning now so that is a big improvement. Still taking the metformin but low doze.

Also staying hydrated enough. half as many ounces as pounds you weigh. Which is 6 pints or 3 quarts minimum and more if you are outside sweating.

Our little Rusty calf is sick again, thin and weak, but we don't know what is wrong with him. We went down to get him up into the corral and he was too weak to walk so we took the trailer down and brought him up. gave him some alphafa hay and a bit of grain and water and he ate like he was hungry so that was a good sign. We may just have to keep him up instead of turning him out with the rest of the herd. I do love my Scots Highland cattle. LOL
