cocobutt's Journal, 29 Oct 10

Aw nuts, up a notch. Well, I know I'll be in the 160s next week sometime. No worries. Planning ahead for lunch: turnip greens, roasted okra and sweet potatoes. Supper at my friend's house, so it's bbq. I'm not sure if I'll resist the pork or go with the chicken. Either way, no bread or mac & cheese and it'll be ok.

Watched Project Runway season finale last night. Mondo was robbed!

Mmm... lunch was good. Very autumny veggies. This weekend Mr Coco will make his incredibly good chili and pumpkin pies. We're having company, so I will allow myself some of that. Just one piece of pie. I can exercise portion control.

I love the autumn veggies too! Yep, simple but delightful seasonal foods. Have you ever tried eating a fruit called persimmon the ones for eating like the apple, not the baking kind? I love them! Some people absolutely hate them but I say, "more for me! Don't worry about the flucking fluctuation, stand your ground and it will go down sooner or later....hopefully sooner! TOWANDA!!!!

Don't read too much into a bit of a bump up. You know, the pork isn't too bad if you stick to the lean and stay away from the fatty parts.
