Been a bit since my last entry. Having a bit of a struggle right now but recording for posterity and lessons I'm still learning. After a bit of a weight stick last week, I decided to have a Mucho Burrito. It was darn good. But in spite of good exercise level & behaviour otherwise, I had gained 3lb the next day. Its that sort of bs that I struggle the most with. Wasn't over calories, was under 100 carbs for the day. Was still in keto the next day, albeit barely. But it does defy logic & the notion you can have a cheat meal on keto lifestyle. It was a burrito for crying out loud, not Taco Bell garbage..or McDonalds. I considered going into a 5 day fast after but mentally not there. So easy still to slip into old mental habits & addictions. For example, had a very good activity day 2 days ago so on a whim stopped & grabbed a slice of deep dish pizza close to home. Then I lost 1.5lb! So of course, yesterday, I notice I have 4 bucks sitting in my glove box so hell, do it again! No weight gain this morning of course..barely in ketosis & trying to learn still, not get angry & depressed about my slipping into old bad thinking. And I have a challenging couple of weeks ahead with son's birthday, fathers day, lake visit where it will be a challenge for mom to understand what I eat & when. So I really need to make the most of my low carb days. My goal over the next couple of weeks is not to lose weight. I think that is too high a bar. But maintaining my weight would be a big win! I am going to OMAD until Tuesday & son's bday. Then off on my lake vakay and back on OMAD or 2MAD at most for about 5 days then fathers day feed. I'm hoping I will get at least 2 or 3 days on my own so I could have a bit of a fast but given I only see folks once per year, not likely. They know I have fasted but they find it disturbing so that adds pressure.
100.7 kg Lost so far: 27.2 kg.    Still to go: 10.0 kg.    Diet followed: Reasonably Well.

You down 60 lbs homie, look at the big picture. I say don't sweat the small stuff. Plus that 3 lbs you came up the other is probably just waiting to be evacuated. No way you'd get that much of an increase that sticks in one day. Relax, enjoy the weather, and reflect on that 60 you already pulled. That's a lot of work man, it's an accomplishment in itself.
