I have to get serious and back in the swing, I've strayed lately and my weight is at a stand still.
I've had a lot of personal, emotional, stressful, physical, work related issues in my life, but that is not an excuse for not taking care of me. I will do better today.
71.2 kg Lost so far: 18.6 kg.    Still to go: 8.6 kg.    Diet followed: Reasonably Well.
Gaining 0.6 kg a Week

JMA312's we're here for you. I can relate to having a lot of stress in your life. This is one thing you can do for yourself that your have control over.

JMA, I completely understand. There are just times when the stress is overwhelming. Hope that you are able to get back on track and get some of the stress out of your life. Take care!

thank you for your thoughts and words. I really appreciate it. Yes you are right this is one thing I can do for me that I have control over & I need to be back on track. The 'outside forces' aren't going to go away though. :(

Joyce - spend some alone time with you...and think back to when you were 200 lbs. What did that make you feel like? What was your daily lifestyle like compared to now? How different has your life been from losing some of the unwanted weight? Think about how much you wanted this...your enthusiasm to get started...you willingness to make changes...your goals towards a healthier, stronger, YOU!!! You have the tools, and you know the mechanics... outside forces, no matter what they are...will always be there. But food has no bearing. It doesn't make it better. It doesn't make it worse. It's simply not attached to the circumstances of life. But your attitude IS. And day to day, you can make things more acceptable, peaceful and enjoyable FOR YOU...by taking back the direction of your goals. Refocusing your energies on doing something for you. Something you've been working at and wanting for a long time. You are most definitely worth it! And I am here for you to help you any way I can!!!
