59Carol's Journal, 23 May 20

Once again I am recording a gain. I have gained 0.8 pounds this week. Looking back over the last few months I have been doing a 'holding' pattern since April. March I gained 4 pounds and I have maintained that weight essentially ever since. Time to get serious. For the last 12 weeks I have averaged over my calorie window so there is no mystery as to why I have not lost.

My plan this week. My goal is to stay in the window every day for the next 7 days. I have not done that in an extremely long time. I have gone way over and way below and averaged something not too far off (but off nevertheless). I believe in consistency. I live alone. I choose what food is in my cupboards. I also don't have to accommodate anyone else. I truly have a perfect situation to control my intake. This is a reasonable goal.
90.2 kg Lost so far: 31.6 kg.    Still to go: 13.1 kg.    Diet followed: Reasonably Well.

I have been doing the same thing the last few months, but I've been back on track this week.

Life these days certainly isn't making this already tough job any easier! If you do as you plan, I'm sure you will show a loss next week! Hang in there! 😊

Thank you to all of you for your support! I have one day under my belt and ended up eating 70 calories under my window. I don't want to start the seesawing so today I am intending to be firmly in my window. Generally I have to watch my behaviours about 1 hour before bedtime - I am tired and vulnerable at that time so I have this idea that if I eat I will not be so tired.... Probably trying to chase a sugar high. I do find that high fiber and protein are the best for staying full.
