Day 7 of no food fast - down to 193lbs and I believe 6lbs are just water. I took measurements today to track those now too so I can see how much of actual fat I'm losing - hips currently at 45.50", and waist 32.5"

I'm feeling outstanding! Zero hunger so far today and energy through the roof...actually feel like doing a spin class on Peloton but I'm going to refrain and just clean my house, car, and plant some flowers today.

I'm going to start calling this a no food fast because this is what I've been having everyday:

1-2 tbsp sugar-free creamer with 1-2 cups coffee (measured out) - 20-40 calories
diet soda
Sugar-free Gatorade or Powerade
and I just bought chicken bullion - 5 calories per tsp. Had it for the first time today - can you say heaven!? Thinking of allowing 3 servings of this a day.

So I'd be having 35-55 calories a day (depending on how many servings of sugar free creamer I have) and if I have 3 servings bullion.

Yesterday was the hardest psychologically regarding this fast. I was sitting around the house for the first time in a week. I usually walk a lot or stay busy so it's so easy to not think of food....but sitting around makes it SO much harder! So I got up and decided to go to my sisters...and her roommate was cooking this AMAZING Mexican food called Carne en su Jugo - how have I never had this dish!? It's added to my list of things I want to make when this is over lol (I really do have a list going).

So, yesterday, I got kinda sad...I miss eating hahaha. Eating is just straight enjoyable!!! And I must admit, the idea of going 33 days more is daunting..but then I stop and think, HEY, one day at a time! And then I reflect on the fact that the hardest days are over (the first 3 were the hardest) and that these 7 days have really flown by...so maybe 40 days will come sooner than it sounds...and you know what? My gut is going to be completely reset after this...my appetite will be smaller and my gut bacteria that helps digestion and send signals to my brain that I'm full is currently healing and reproducing in my stomach! (that's one of the MANY benefits of a fast like this)...oh and my body is cleaning out old cells
