I ate so many cupcakes this week, good thing they were low-carb! It felt good eating them while Canada was freaking out and emptying out all the grocery stores! Good thing I still have some toilet paper left, otherwise I would have been out of luck!
My birthday always falls around the clock change to daylight savings time, which I really don't like. I liked it better when the change was done in April, because they are enough hours of sunshine to notice it less in the mornings. In March it's terrible because the sky is still dark at 7am, while the sun was rising around 6am in February! My blood pressure was high for 3 days (Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday). It went back down on Thursday. So it took a while for even my body to get used to it. I don't have this problem when we turn back the clocks to standard time.
I am probably the only person on the planet who doesn't like daylight savings time. Early March is way too soon. Advancing the clocks in early April like we used to do before 2007 would be a good compromise. However, I keep reading about people that push to impose daylight savings time all year round. I don't know what I'll do if the sky is pitch black at 8am in December and January. I would need to move to a tropical country, but then most of them may lack job opportunities and typically many people from tropical countries tend to move to first-world countries that tend to be at the 45th parallel (North or South) and have daylight savings time. If Saskatchewan still observes standard time all year round (not sure if they still do), maybe I'll just move there and try to find a job! Otherwise, I guess I'll have to get used to it and not get a stroke!
I was expecting some sun for today, however it is still cloudy and depressing-looking outside. Hope it gets better later!
