Three pounds a week, well I can certainly live with that! Although I have to be honest I work insanely hard for each and every pound. Been spending four days a week at the gym for just over an hour a session. My workouts of choice have been the elliptical and swimming laps. I'm lucky enough to have access to an olypic size pool and I use it as much as possible. I'm not a very strong swimmer but I have definitely gained some speed and stamina since starting. Exercise has truly been the focal point of my weight loss regimen, and I hate to admit that I love it. I still eat a lot of the same foods I ate before, just in more reasonable portions and I try to make smarter choices. I do not drink pop at all, which I used to think I couldn't live without, and I quit smoking two months ago. So all in all I think I have made some great strides towards my health and well being. All of that being said, down thirteen pounds total for the month of march! WooHoo. If I can keep going at 12-13 pound loss per month I will be in the 100's by the end of september. Sure it seems like a long way away, but by the grace of god I will get there. =)
