up a couple pounds today, but I'm beginning a new calorie deficit, so we'll see if I can't reverse that trend a bit. been making good strength gains, but been getting a bit tight in the belly/waistline too.

day 2 of my 4 day workout plan. today I started with leg curls (I would usually begin with my primary lift, but I read that leg curls first makes squats easier, so I figured I'd give it a shot.)

lying leg curls:
5 x 80
5 x 80
8 x 100
8 x 100
8 x 120
8 x 120, then 25 half reps.

legs were burnin'!

squats (which were a bit easier after leg curls. well, maybe not easier, but I did much heavier weight on my pyramid than I used to)

12 x 235
10 x 255
8 x 275
6 x 295
4 x 315

20 minute brisk walk on the track (about 1.5 miles)

stretch and about 10 min in the sauna.

total calories for the day (including 283 g protein) just under 2500.

we'll see what progress I can make doing this for a while 😅

Oops! Stopped At burger king to get the girls some nuggets and fries. Of course this is post gym and pre supper, so I ate 2 nuggets and about 20 fries 😅 So let's amend that just shy of 2500 cals to just over 2600. Ah well, it's still about a 1000 Cal cut and brings the protein up over 290g

That's 10 fries, not 20

Damn that's a lot of protein for only 2600 cal. Must have made some good choices! Nice job on the legs, too.

Thanks DP. I made some tough calls for this. I really have to restrict carbs and fat or I'll have 3500-4000 calories to get that.muxh protein. Lucky for me I like protein shakes and meat lol

But at 300+ pounds and lifting 4 days a week, I need the protein
