I'm pretty excited tonight...I tried on a tops in Giant Tiger and I could wear an xlarge! I haven't fit into an xlarge for nearly 24 years! that means I will soon be able to buy my clothes off of a regular rack instead of Womens sizes! I don't know about others in FS land but that means a lot to me. onward and downward lol
104.1 kg Lost so far: 27.4 kg.    Still to go: 18.0 kg.    Diet followed: Reasonably Well.

@cymraaa I'm far from an expert but if I was going to say anything my advice would be simply find what works for you and what you can live with then stick to it! Personally I have a very slow metabolism sk I have to be very strict. I try to keep my carbs below 20 and my calories below 1200 and do intermittent fasting with a 21:3 ratio. I'm not always successful but that's what I aim for.

I am the same. My intermittent fasting switches around periodically, but my lifestyle changes stick.

Can you explain intermittent fasting for me. What does the ratio represent?

Intermittent fasting can be different for different people. Most people start with a window of eating time per day. Say six hour eating window, with 18 hours fasting between. (Half of which you will sleep through). People can shorten the window over time if they choose. Just make sure you stay nutritionally balanced in that time.

Like natashyawithay says. The first number represents the hours I go without eating and the second number represents the hours I eat and get my calorie intake during that time. It doesn't mean I eat for 3 hours lol but I can have my main meal and then I might have a snack a couple hours later if I need to complete my calories and I'm still hungry
