I'm afraid to celebrate an overnight 2-pound drop. That kind of fluctuation probably means fluid retention on my last weigh-in. But gotta say it was a nice surprise this morning.

I was working out last night while watching Project Runway. I did my aerobic step during the show, then during commercials, I switched to weights and crunches.

Hub fixed a light version of fried chicken last night with fake mashed potatoes made from puréed cauliflower instead of potatoes. It was delish!

Good job on the 2 pound if only water drop. I did the same and I KNOW it was water because of too much sodium the 2 or 3 days before. I am looking at another one tomorrow. (I hope, I hope) I love step and want to start again but I am having a difficult time finding a place to set it up. grrrr I do love my elliptical and am doing 8 miles on it daily, 40-45 minutes. Hubby took me out for dinner last night. It was our 60th anniversary. (grin we celebrate months) Anyway, we went to Applebee's and I had a grilled chicken breast that was actually served with a huge serving of broccoli and a small serving of potatoes. I was really impressed. Then we shared a dessert (it was ok, I had room in my day for a small indulgence).

The fake mash from cauliflower is great! Soemwhere I have a recipe for cauliflower tots (instead of tater tots). If I find it, I'll post it. I know what you mean about getting your hopes up. I lost a little, but it looks like just a fluctuation too.

I've been wanting to sneak in cauliflower that way. I say sneak because, if my hubby saw me mashing it up he'd probably think I fell and hit my head somewhere, lol. Then ask where the darn potatoes were, lol! I keep hearing good things about these potato imposters though :)
