She deserved a ticket. This morning after dropping my daugther off for her first day of 6th grade I was cruising along side one of those Califorinia Highway Patrol cars that are not black and white but solid white. My attention was called to the CHP because she used her loud speaker trying to warn the car who was in front of her. "This is a Warning, Put your seatbelt on" she said. I looked over and the officer said to me through her partially opened passanger window " I don't think this the warning is going to work"!

As I kept traveling past I glanced at the car to get a better look at the driver without a seat belt and noticed she had a cell phone up to her ear, was in her own world and had no clue that the CHP was behind her. The careless driver turned into a left hand turning lane and the CHP followed". I suppose she ended up getting written up for one, maybe two tickets. I suppose there is a morale to this. Pay Attention because if you don't heed to a warning or two things may get worse for you. TOWANDA!!!

This is the time we learn to take care of ourselves, because we learned we're not invincible. -Carla
