Good news for me! I lost what I gained last week and another pound more. That is nice to see. I am hovering at the 1.2 pound per week instead of the 1.3 pound per week that I had been sustaining until this week. Funny how much that is bothering me! I have 4 more weeks before I hit the one year anniversary of keeping records on losing weight. I really want to maintain the 1.3 pound per week loss as of August 24. Previous to this, my best was losing 0.96 pounds per week over a year so I am doing way better than my personal best. No matter how I look at this I win!

We had a crazy amount of rain this past week. My lawn needs mowing however there are literally puddles every where! There is more rain in the forecast so I don't know if it will get dry enough to mow any time soon meanwhile I am watching the grass grow! While I was stuck inside, I dug into house cleaning. I hope to finish the last bit this morning and then my place will be spic and span.

My giant non scale victory for this week is that I washed all my windows. That sounds pretty tame however the amazing part is that I washed the outside windows. I am terrified of heights. When I get about three rungs up a ladder I freeze. I got my house three step stool outside telling myself that I am not afraid to go on that. I placed it on the ground stepped onto the first step and sunk three inches into the ground (remember the massive rain fall...) - the front legs only so now it was careening forward. Not going to work. I problem solved. Got two short planks and placed them under the stool's legs. Success! All was good until I got to the window that is partially obscured by a Hawthorne tree. In case you don't know, those trees have thorns! So trying to avoid the thorns and going up a ladder I am already at my edge when I start getting bit all over my face, neck and breasts. What the hell? Red ants. Managed to finish the window while frantically brushing ants off me. Still had 3 more windows left and got those done too minus the ants. I guess my boards disturbed their nest and once I was gone they left me alone. I am so pleased with how amazing my windows look and am particularly pleased that I did it myself.

Wow, that's a big job! I have a long pole that I use, instead of going up on a ladder.

Thank you for all your support! Each of us has that hard thing to do and for me it is about heights! Ended up not finishing in my house because a cousin came over to give me a hand with moving heavy things out of the garage destined for either the barn or the dump. Worked in the garage for 6 hours and took two loads to the dump. After 10 hours of steady work over the past three days I am just starting to see a difference. I think I have another 30 hours to go on that job.
