Evil cookies. Evil food (everything else I ate that I won’t mention because of temptations). Avoid my log if you have no willpower. (I don’t even know how to look at a food log other than my own)

Reality: 💦

Ate over calories but as I’m still trying to gain muscle it’s fine. I’ve been at a deficit or slight surplus for several weeks now. I think I’ll try a 200 kcal surplus average. I’ve one occasionally. It got me thinking, after researching last night, that perhaps I should have more of a surplus. Not the 500 online recommends on a lot of sites but 200 seems reasonable and was a # someone gave me awhile back. 10% over or under. I’m sitting 12% before my snack last night. 200 over would be 12-15% surplus for me. 500 would be 33% lol. 20% on workout days. 30-33% on rest days is too much. I believe this would also be a great motivator to lift harder. Who wouldn’t work harder knowing they could earn a candy bar, donut, loaded baked potato or other treat they enjoy? This way I could also try having one before and after a workout to see if carbs help. One candy bar or small 100 kcal carb treat doesn’t help much unless I’m well rested, in a good mood etc. Basically the stars and everything I do have to be lined up for an excellent workout for me lol. 🤷‍♀️

Anyway this is water so don’t feel bad for me or happy when I lose it over the next few days. 95+ for the day yesterday and I was in the heat from most of 2:30-9. I had a mini workout at home by lifting 5# DB in an effort to pop my upper back then ran back and forth across our big 26’ living room (like ball players do when they touch the lines and go back to the first line). Maybe 50 kcal burned but that added to chasing kids, getting the party ready and just the heat alone means I knew I’d gain some water.
55.1 kg Lost so far: 17.8 kg.    Still to go: 0 kg.    Diet followed: Reasonably Well.

Lol yes I did! If I remember correctly.. 7 small cookies (made into half a serving each. I weighed the dough!!), a snickers, my usual 3 jaw breakers and a beef jerky. Don’t think I left anything out lol.

I remember back in 2012 or so I had a food journal where I labeled everything 'stupid mayonnaise binge' ... I should find that.. it was insane. Good for logging it. I'd not have looked if you hadn't pointed us there with your teaser. I log everything. I don't care if people look. It's there for a reason.

I like the idea that someone might be on a restrictive diet like I was and ready to quit. Then they find my log and realize that the can eat ‘junk’ in moderation as well as foods they love. Everything I do I hope helps one person out there. I also don’t care if ppl see my log and it aggravates them. Another goal is to aggravate irritable people 😁. You can imagine how much I used to irritate myself hehe.

Mirror and tape measure bothers me. Scale does but only for a couple minutes. It’s that first knee jerk reaction that I’m trying to get rid of lol. I think my tape measure is shrinking though. I can’t be growing through the middle lol.

I use them whenever I’m willing to suffer through the aggravation of not seeing a change just to see if there was a slight change lol. Basically like once a month or every other month.

I think my junk yesterday was a mid day triple decker strawberry jam and PB sandwich. No one will see it if I don't log it. I wonder if I ate under 3,000? Hmmm....old man problems.

It’s sad that I know where that first word comes from lol. Hubby loves that show and I avoid it because of that character lol.

Hey Chris, ya happen to know the GI of a fit crunch cinnamon twist bar?? Heading to the gym and thought I’d have one. Gonna have it either way but was curious hehe. (Somehow I doubt it is listed or it would be the same as the highest ingredient).
