Haven't dropped since Monday even though my deficit's been large. I think it's a short term thing due to starting up w/ barbells again.

I notice when I lift, my weight goes up for 1-2 days before it goes back down... but when I eat too much it doesn’t go back down... 😅😅😅

I have been gaining weight when I am lifting weights too, even if I am not eating a calorie surplus.

🤔 guess I shouldn't have stopped lifting

I don't think stopping lifting is ever the answer. I think when your muscles repair they hold water.

Maybe you need to switch up your diet plan. Like you my weight yo-yos and it’s taking a toll on my health. I started the Keto diet on May 13 and I’m down 8 lbs. That is huge for me. I’m following a balanced plan so I don’t overdo the fat or protein. I feel amazing compared to how I felt two weeks ago. I’m saying it’s for everyone but I’m very sensitive to carbs and this seems to be a fit with me.

Oops! I meant it’s not for everyone but it is working for me

Just joking; I stopped lifting because of a shoulder injury. But laziness kept me from returning sooner. (Was working out at home though.) My carbs are pretty low most of the time.

Yes. When you add the weights and hard workouts, it will sometimes stall. Keep going. You need that muscle! Add protein! Inches now.
