Considering how I ate yesterday, ate late and did DB work on my own I’d say this number is just fine :).
Kids off to school and didn’t lol like the roads were flooded so I can make it to the awards and picnic days (moved inside).
House still standing. Stayed up so only had like 3-4 hours sleep. Stupid flash flood alarms kept going off. Don’t know why they extended it every hour or so. Around here, with the amount of rain we had, we all know it’ll still be flooded tonight so of course it would’ve been last night. Just say it ends at 7am and extend it from there. Not 6pm, 7:30pm, 9:30 pm, 10pm,11pm, 12am, 1am, 3:30am and 6:30am. Know I missed some earlier ones but the thing went off 7-8 times after 9pm last night which is more than the flood warnings went off during the torrential rain when I could see water coming into the yard from over the road. 🤦♀️🤷♀️
Water level has went down maybe 2-4” in the yard. Thankfully I have video with a tree that the water is just up the trunk on and today it’s 1-2” away from the tree. Pasture still well over halfway in running and standing water. Sounds like a rushing river by the house. Could hear it last night and it put me to sleep quickly! Some more risk today I believe but only rain not tornadoes. Need to check weather before I leave in case it’s changed.
