Another little drop. Which I am super happy about. However I found out yesterday that I will have to have brain surgery soon. So I guess these last 10 pounds are the least of my worries right now.
59.0 kg Lost so far: 10.9 kg.    Still to go: 3.2 kg.    Diet followed: Reasonably Well.

Reasonably so. I’d say that’s a pretty normal reaction. Are you going to need to be awake during it.

I will be under anesthesia for the surgery. It will be between 6 and 8 hours in duration. They haven’t given me the set date yet. But I have an angiogram next Monday the 11th for the surgeon to map the surgery and then they figure a couple weeks after that. So probably the end of March.

That’ll come quick in some respects and slowly in others. I’m not sure if you were expecting this or not, but it wouldn’t be unusual for you to have a whole raft of emotions going in every which direction. If you want, your medical team might have some suggestions of someone you can talk to about those feelings. It can sometimes help to express them and it can sometimes be hard to do it with loved ones because they’ll have their own raft of emotions they’re dealing with.
