May I ask, what is the 18 hr fasting? How does it work?

It is when you do not eat anything for 18 hours. So you may perhaps eat all your food for the day between 12 and 6 in the day but nothing between 6 PM and noon the next day, It is sometimes referred to as 18:6 (Intermitent fasting) You can make the interval of eating a bit longer like (16:8) or a bit shorter like (20:4)

mine to make it easier I eat dinner at whatever time that ends up being and then don't eat again until lunch the next day. so if I ate dinner later than usual I eat lunch later. I do drink a great deal of water. In the past I tried to do a 24 hour fast and I found by the second day at lunch I was feeling not so good so I modified mine the way that I am at least for the start of Keto while my body is adjusting to living off of fat instead of sugar for energy

I have read a lot about fasting. It appears to be very good for you!! No fear of starvation people have done fasting since the beginning of time! Fasting like keto just takes a couple of days to get used to it. Some sea Salt in a glass of warm water will help get rid of the headaches.
