Good morning FS friends... here is to a committed day! I am doing keto and IF. Questions for you all. Does bullet proof coffee in the morning break my IF? I typically don't eat solid foods for the first time until about noon or one, but really love my coffee in the morning (with MCT, Ghee and HWC). I gonna keep doing it either way because I like it :) ...but was just curious about the impact. Have a lovely Friday!

Different versions of fast would say different things here. And I would go with what works for you. Have you heard about Jason Fung? He is the fasting guru at the moment. I listened to a nice podcast with him yesterday on http://www.lowcarbmd.com/ Nice with inspiration sometimes.

Yes and no, but it comes down to your preference. You can always experiment one week without it to see what happens...

I drink 110 calories of protein in my coffee 7 days a week. It 'technically' breaks a 'fast' so I always call my fasts 'No Solid Food' fasts :) With that said, I can drop 1-2 pounds a day (because I still lift weight and run). - - I have been 'fasting' for over 9 months. I don't see how a person can stick to something long term if you have to 'struggle real hard'. So, "Bullet Proof Coffee" is something that 'fills me up' and makes me feel 'comfortable'. It makes me feel 'satisfied and happy'.

Also, I have tried MCT oil in my coffee, but the Protein in the coffee 'fills me up' better.

I'm going to have some mct oil in my coffee tomorrow to start the week off right.. I miss it. It gives me crazy energy and I've ate 1000+ calories at breakfast 🍳 the last couple days 😮

Avocado oil butter is really good in the coffee. I only add that in mind about twice a week.
