Saw my Orthopedic surgeon on Monday & he has scheduled me for a knee repair on Mar 7/19. He says this knee is worse than my right one that he did last year. He's not sure that the knee repair will work. He says I MUST LOSE WEIGHT. On Monday I didn't eat too many calories but after doing a lot of research, I am trying a Low carb diet. I don't want to do the Keto plan as it involves too much weighing, measuring etc. That's too involved for me.
I'm eating more protein & high fat & only low carb vegetables for my carbs. This means giving up all bread, rice, pasta & more importantly chocolate.
Any advice or help that anyone has to give, I would sure appreciate it.
I'm actually down 7lbs since Monday, but I know that is water weight.
