Stay determined in spite of off sets. I love to cook also just had to change my cooking priorities. I still blow it on holidays but get back on the plan asap, mostly the next day. I have been dealing with type 2 for 26 years. Up and down in control, out of control. A close friend of mine said Bill, diabetes is the easiest of all diseases to control. That was a bunch of BS! On a positive note I do expect my endocrinologist to take me off my meds the first week of August due to weight loss and dietary changes. Currently my weight loss goal is 20 grams of carbs per meal or 60 a day plus or minus. It’s working for weight loss.
