Involuntary fast this morning as I have to have blood drawn, then go to the endodontist to complete my root canal. I have no idea how I'm going to feel today or what I'll be able to eat. I'm 1 pound away from my first 10 pounds lost so I don't want to blow it! Maybe I'll stop at The Corner Bakery for lunch and get some soup.

Update: No soup. I'm so full of novocaine that it would dribble all over me. I'm licking cottage cheese off a spoon instead and grateful to have it. Of course, my crown did not survive the dental work today, so I'll be getting a new one Thursday afternoon. This may be the most torturous way to lose weight ever. I hate the dentist!
