Good afternoon folks,
In the spirit of being completely honest with myself and taking ownership for my actions, whether good or bad...I want to share that I ate almost an entire Nothing Bundt Cake all by myself yesterday.
It was a red velvet cake and it was absolutely delicious!
Do I feel guilty? No, not really. Will this set me back? Maybe in the short term.
Yesterday my wife and I celebrated our 28th wedding anniversary and our 20 year old daughter bought that cake for us. I certainly wasn't thrilled that a delicious temptation was in our home but the only thing to do to eliminate it was to consume it quickly and thoroughly!
Lastly, I wanted to enjoy this day without angst because being married to my wife has been my greatest blessing. She has sacrificed her whole life for the happiness of myself and our children.
Her selflessness is unmatched and quite honestly, I cannot say I have been as giving.
I owe her so much more than I have given her and she has never waivered on us. I will spend the rest of my life being a better husband so one day of drinking good wine, eating a good dinner and sharing a red velvet cake all day is not the end of the world.
Already today, I am back on track, I have eaten well, walked and exercised and am ready for my more dedication.
Let's keep this train moving...

I used to do that, but felt so guilty afterwards. Now I get physically ill if I consume a bunch of carbs, has something to do with this Ketogenics plan I am on. I consume 20, or less carbohydrates a day, so my body has switched over to burning my fat stores, for energy. Now when I eat 6 Girl Scout cookies, I get sick, probably because my body. Ant switch back nd forth so quickly, between fat stores and carbs in the stomach.

That is a good husband that expresses and acknowledges all that his wife has done for him and his family AND also admits that he ate almost an entire nothing bundt cake! Congratulates on your 28 years of marriage.
