tahoebrun's Journal, 25 Jan 18

Good morning - So the nerd in me is coming out - I built a spread sheet (excel) to look at my blood glucose levels, carbs and meal calories to see if I could correlate trends. And, there is (kind of) but my system isn't as linear as I would like it to be. It did provide a nice visual of my glucose levels and food intake. It is just another tool for me to help understand how I am functioning with the food I take in, plus it is helping me to be less manic if I go over at a point in carbs or calories. I am in this for the long run so I am going to have a great day and I hope the same for you all.

If it's close, I imagine it is a general linear function. But if it veers off, you could try to find a natural logarithmic correlation / curve fit. Natural logs show up in both the plant and animal kingdoms (nautilus shell growth, sunflower seed arrangement, etc.). Glad to hear you are getting a handle on your sugar levels.
