Good morning everyone - I had a great night - my base hosted a date night for couples that included a dinner (el pollo loco) and a desert contest. I did partake in a few bites of desserts and yes I blew my carbs for the meal. I did manage to stay under my carbs for the day. Given everything else - I am ok with this. It was nice to get out and relax. My family is impacted by the furlough so I am stressed. but I slept ok. Todays lesson learned is that sugar really effects my sleep - so no more sugar after 7pm.

At last nights dinner I received a tip from another couple with a diabetic child on where to buy the Dave's killer bread; there is a bread outlet in town that has it for 3 loaves for $5 vs. $4.50 a loaf. the thin sliced bread is awesome and works to help balance the carbs out in a meal with out overloading calories. Whoo Hoo.
