Today my grandson came over and helped take down the Christmas decorations and put them up in the attic. This was a chore I was dreading. Just having him here helping gave me enough incentive to get it all done. The extra work took my mind off of what I wanted to eat another blessing. I am having chicken nuggets with a tossed Romaine salad and maybe a 1/2 cup of 4% cottage cheese for supper.
The temperature got up to the 40s today and we welcomed it. Tomorrow morning they are talking about freezing rain in the morning so that might make church be canceled. I can't wait until spring gets here this has been a rough winter, but at least we don't live on the east coast.

I'm jealous. My grandson is 15 years old and about 6' tall. I have asked for his help a few times but he has refused. I need someone tall enough to change the light bulb in the bridge at the head of my bed, and someone young enough to look under the bed.

I lost 75 pounds and last year regained 40 of them. Feels like I am starting right from the beginning. I cannot believe I let myself get back up over 200. Re-reading diet books to remind myself...must eat at least 1200 calories per day...eating less stalls the diet. Must eat 60% fat...too high protein....body turns excess protein to sugar...god it is all so complicated. Must pay more attention to the percentages every day.
