Friday at last. Valentine Weekend - it's making me worry about the future. I decided today I have to get another cleaning lady - my old one also does hospice and is caring 24/7 for a woman in our town and can't clean houses.
Next, I'm going to get some work done by someone who can work 40 hours a week. Sheesh. My house is a wreck. I bought some fabric to make some curtains - then I wondered why I just didn't go and buy some, for heaven's sake, the sewing takes up so much time: washed and cut the fabric, washed and cut the lining, now I have to put up the curtain rods, and then go and sew. It'll take me all weekend if I don't just go and buy some ready-made.
My daughter is already wrecking the new bathroom - closed the shower curtain and pulled down the rod; put all her stuff on the new shelf and overloaded the hook so it started to fall off. Gah. And I think she gouged a huge black line into the floor with a belt or boot or something too. Tsk.
Anyway, I am really thirsty this week, which I think means I have cut way down on calories - let's see how the scale works out tomorrow!
Have a good weekend - I have to fill out financial aid forms so I am not sure if I'll be back til I'm done with those!
