I was hungry today - don't know why except I am cutting down calories - also, I am thinking about food which makes me hungry I think.

Trying to focus and do something else if I THINK I am hungry when I am not - got a lot of trash out of the basement instead of snacking!

That's good! I think that we confuse a lot of things with "hunger." For me the big culprit is being tired, and being bored. And there's always being thirsty. It always takes me a few days to adjust to a new plan. It'll feel right in a few days--and you'll also have more space in your basement!

You're right Abba keeping busy is the key but make sure you haven't cut those calories too much.

There is a book that your post reminds me of: Does this clutter make my butt look fat?? Good book that relates one to the other so bravo to you for getting rid of things you do not want or need. It is also wonderful that you are taking time to ask yourself if you are actually hungry. That is a great mindful moment!
