egdw's Journal, 07 Jul 16

It's Thursday evening. Yeah! It's my weekend. I don't work Fridays. This weekend I'm attending a three day boot camp....dragon boat training camp in preparation for the competition in Moscow this September. (I'm not competing but my husband is and I'm tagging along, followed by vacation). I'm kind of worried about the workouts. But I guess I'll survive. Maybe even loose some fat. All is good. My weight is coming down. Is it usual to feel fatigued with this low carb eating? I'm sure feeling bagged.

Have a great weekend everyone😊

I have to say it took me about 6 weeks to start feeling OK again. Initially I was very foggy, headaches, out of sorts. That goes away, and then you really start feeling BETTER! Hang in there! Make sure you get salt in your diet, low carb is a natural diuretic.

I was reading about the salt. I added salt to my coffee cuz I don't like drinking just water...had to pour it out. Uggh...will trying in other ways. Have been successful with weight loss thus far but concerned about what lack of energy will do on a hard weekend of tough exercise.😟

Here's a suggestion - I made bone broth but you could sub store bought chicken broth, heat it in a cup like tea and add a tsp of sea salt - actually I thought it tasted great! Also consider taking a magnesium supplement especially if you experience leg cramps - not that I know everything, it's just what I've learned from other people here.
