Glucose is your body and especially your brains preferred energy source. Forcing your body to use fat is sub-optimal. I mean, your body even fights it by making you feel like crap during the adjustment period which can take two months.

I was given a copy of the US Olympic Training Center's, CO. Cycling eating schedule while they're training for an event. They do eat high carb
