Is LCHF diet good for skin? I think so, after about 2 weeks, I'm noticing my skin glowing and my crows feet around the eyes are diminishing! It must be all the water, whole foods, and lack of starchy skin sucking ingredients I'm eating! I believe LCHF will not only change my weight but benefit my skin! Oh, and my super rough man's hands are getting softer and less flaky!!

Get coconut oil and use it on your skin. Read about this stuff. It seems amazing, but I forget about using it. I am a very vain person, who will do almost anything to look younger. lol I do more skin products than most women, and I have had a Bosley hair transplant. I would have monthly facials etc. etc. lol By the way, your kids and you are so cute in your pic. Lately I have been getting into sunglasses too. lol Whatever rows my boat! lol

I agree on coconut oil both to eat and also used on the skin - it is a great make-up remover!

Hey guys! Happy Friday night! I guess I must run to Costco and get a big tub of coconut oil- for cooking, coffee, skincare, and as mouthwash! Lol.. Warren, do you get pedicures too? Hahaha!! It's awesome if you do!

I usually use olive oil, but everyone keeps saying nice things about coconut oil, the last time I used it was 3 years ago, but I remember frying chicken in it, it came out very good! I must say, enjoy your Saturday day Suzy!

I heard that LCHF can produce more skin oils, which if you have dry skin will help hydrate and make your skin look better..... unless you're like me with already oily skin, then you look like a grease bucket LOL!

I had keratosis pilaris aka chicken skin on my upper arms and some on thighs forever. No amount of moisturizing would help. After being LCHF for about 6 months I noticed it was completely gone. It might have been sooner but I just didn't notice. I have since been told sometimes gluten intolerance can cause it so maybe it was cutting the carbs or maybe it was the high amount of coconut oil, or maybe a combo of both. Also, my heels have always been horribly dry and thick but not anymore. Even the lady that does my pedicures noticed and mentioned it. Maybe that's because of not so much weight pressing down on them or a combo of all. I think of it as just another great "side effect" of my LCHF diet, besides the weight loss!

I read somewhere the LCHF slows the aging process. Not bragging but as I stated before I have been on this WOL for 43 years, and I have a lot of people tell me I do not look 63. so there is something about the LCHF wol that does help the skin.
